Marshfield will challenge Gladstone on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Marshfield is expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the contest prepared for a fight.
Marshfield couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of North Bend by a score of 21-23.
Meanwhile, Gladstone gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener last week. They took their game against Banks 35-28.
Gladstone's victory lifted them to 1-0 while Marshfield's defeat dropped them down to 0-1. We'll find out if Gladstone can add another positive mark to their record or if Marshfield can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Gladstone's step.
