Hassell has been hot recently, having  posted two or more  steals the last three times he's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Sheldon Gardner, who  dropped  a double-double with 11 points and 12  boards.
 Dove Creek was working as a unit and  finished the game with 18  assists. That's the most  assists they've posted since back in December of 2024.
Dove Creek's victory was  their fifth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 15-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 56.2 points over those games. As for Dolores, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost six of their last eight matches,  which has put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record  this season.
