Baseball Recap: Central Christian Takes a Loss

Central Christian suffered their closest loss since April 16, 2024 on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Aletheia Christian Academy Lions by a score of 5-3. The Saints have struggled against the Lions recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Graycen Lynn was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jackson Allen, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Central Christian now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Aletheia Christian Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

Coincidentally, Central Christian and Aletheia Christian Academy will both be playing Pensacola Christian Academy the next time they take the field. Central Christian will host Pensacola Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Aletheia Christian Academy will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
