Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy never let their opponents score on Friday. They blew past the Oxbridge Academy ThunderWolves 49-0. Considering the Tigers have won five matchups by more than 23 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Rico Buitrago, who rushed for 60 yards and a pair of scores on only five carries, and also threw for 75 yards and three TDs. Buitrago's passing game has become a key predictor of the Tigers' success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 110 or higher, but only 1-2 otherwise. Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy also got a significant boost from JORDAN OSBORNE, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 99 yards.

Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB eight times. The heavy lifting was done by Oliver Esmailzadeh and Andres Spencer, who racked up six sacks between them. Spencer is on a roll when it comes to sacks, as he's now posted at least one in each of the last four games he's played.

Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 40.0 points over those games. As for Oxbridge Academy, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Looking ahead, Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy is taking a road trip to face off against The Master's Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers will be up against the Eagles' rather soft defense (which has allowed 27.75 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Oxbridge Academy, they will be playing at home against Olympic Heights at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
