Butler put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Xenia Buccaneers by a score of 58-47. Given the Aviators' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 144th, while the Buccaneers are ranked 626th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Butler pushed their record up to 6-0 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.0 points per game. As for Xenia, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Butler and Sidney will round out the year against one another at at 7:30 p.m. on December 27th. Xenia has already played their next matchup, an 80-44 victory against Legacy Christian Academy on the 21st.
