Meanwhile, Centerpoint had to suffer through a rough 42-14 loss at the hands of Bismarck. Centerpoint was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-7.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Dustin Cox, who rushed for 64 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries.
Mansfield's win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Centerpoint, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-5.
