Jefferson hasn't had much luck against Harlem recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The J-Hawks will challenge the Huskies at 5:00 p.m. Jefferson is coming into the contest hot, having won their last five games.

Rylie Adams was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over 5.2 innings pitched. Adams was also big at the plate, going 4-for-5 with two runs and one RBI.
In other batting news, Maddy Merschman and Adriah Sholl did most of the damage at the plate: Merschman went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double, while Sholl went 2-for-4 with five RBI, one run, and one double. Those five RBI gave Sholl a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Aubrey Burbach, who went 1-for-4 with two RBI.
Harlem was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .405. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Rockford Auburn only posted a batting average of .259.
Jefferson's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-12. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 2.5 runs across that stretch. As for Harlem, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-8 record this season.
