On Friday Somerset take on Hazard at 7:30 PM. Somerset is expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the matchup prepared for a fight.
Somerset might be aching after a bruising 0-28 defeat to Beechwood last Friday. The game was over by the end of the first half, with no points scored by either team from that point forward.
Meanwhile, Hazard was the big favorite in their most recent match, and for good reason. They made easy work of Letcher County Central and carried off a 43-14 victory.
Hazard's win lifted them to 2-0 while Somerset's loss dropped them down to 2-1. We'll see if Hazard's success rolls on or if Somerset are able to steal their positive momentum.
