Last Monday, Grove Christian School didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot, but they still walked away with a 31-27 victory. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Grove Christian School.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Grove Christian School to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ore Oyefuga, who scored five points along with five assists and four blocks. That's the first time this season that Oyefuga posted two or more blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Sidney Fisher, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 20 rebounds.
Meanwhile, The Carmel School was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 29-23 to Grace Christian School.
Grove Christian School now has a winning record of 5-4. As for The Carmel School, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.
Everything went Grove Christian School's way against The Carmel School when the teams last played back in December of 2023 as Grove Christian School made off with a 31-11 win.
