North Andrew is 8-2 against Worth County since December of 2016, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The North Andrew Cardinals will be home for the holidays to greet the Worth County Tigers at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Monday, it was a hard-fought match, but North Andrew had to settle for a 34-32 defeat against North Nodaway. It was the first time this season that North Andrew let down their fans at home.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Worth County, who are still winless after their eighth contest. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 60-39 walloping at the hands of Mount Ayr on Friday. Worth County has not had much luck with Mount Ayr recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
North Andrew's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-3. As for Worth County, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-8.
North Andrew didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Worth County in their previous meeting back in November, but they still walked away with a 31-26 victory.
