California Lutheran can attribute much of their success to Neleh Boehm, who had 16 assists and six digs. Those 16 assists gave Boehm a new career-high.
California Lutheran was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 21 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in eight consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Hamilton didn't have quite enough to beat United Christian Academy on Tuesday and fell 3-2. While the Bobcats didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Eagles 25-19 in the first set.
Hamilton took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-19, 20-25, 25-17, 15-9.

As for Hamilton, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 17-6.
