Clear Lake put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They enjoyed a cozy 69-54 victory over the St. Edmond Gaels. Given the Lions' advantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked third, while the Gaels are ranked 43rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Clear Lake pushed their record up to 22-0 with the win, which was their 12th straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.8 points over those games. As for St. Edmond, their loss dropped their record down to 18-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clear Lake will face off against Iowa Falls-Alden at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Edmond, they will take on Webster City at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
