South Anchorage not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since August 31, 2024 (when they won 42-0). They were the clear victors by a 31-7 margin over the Lathrop Malemutes. With the Wolverines ahead 24-0 at the half, the game was all but over already.

South Anchorage didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Carsen Hawes and Taylor Vojtasek.

South Anchorage now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Lathrop, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 2-1.

Coming up, South Anchorage will challenge Bettye Davis East Anchorage at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Wolverines are facing the Thunderbirds at the right time seeing as the Thunderbirds are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
