Alvarado never let their opponents score on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Ferris Yellowjackets with a sharp 7-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Indians, who have now won seven contests by six runs or more so far this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Alvarado and bumps their season record up to 12-9. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.5 runs over those games. As for Ferris, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-10-3 record this season.

Alvarado will head out to take on Venus at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Indians are facing the Bulldogs at the right time seeing as the Bulldogs are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Ferris, they will take on Life Waxahachie at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The last four games the Mustangs have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
