Bible Baptist Christian has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will square off against the Byne Christian Saints at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Even though Faith Baptist Christian Academy scored an imposing 72 points on Friday, Bible Baptist Christian still came out on top. Bible Baptist Christian walked away with an 83-72 win over the Crusaders.
Alex Forbes continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 30 points along with six assists and six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Samuel Rahming, who scored eight points along with three steals.
Meanwhile, Byne Christian came tearing into Thursday's matchup with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 29 points) and they left with even more momentum. They strolled past Crisp Academy with points to spare, taking the game 52-34.
Bible Baptist Christian's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 83.3 points per game. As for Byne Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a massive bump to their 14-11 record this season.
Bible Baptist Christian was able to grind out a solid victory over the Saints when the teams last played back in November of 2023, winning 52-40. Does Bible Baptist Christian have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Saints turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
