While Chicopee didn't have the best season last year (they finished 2-8), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They put the hurt on the Chicopee Comp Colts with a sharp 20-8 win on Monday. Considering the Pacers have won four contests by more than ten runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Chicopee's victory was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-1. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.8 runs over those games. As for Chicopee Comp, their loss dropped their record down to 1-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chicopee will take on McCann Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Chicopee Comp, they will head out to take on Drury at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
