After a string of three wins, The Galion Tigers''s good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell just short of West Holmes by a score of 22-19. The game was a 7-7 toss-up at halftime, but Galion was just barely outscored by West Holmes in the second.
Galion's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for West Holmes, their victory was their 14th straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 10-2.
Galion does not have any more games scheduled as of now. West Holmes will face off against Perkins at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Perkins presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than West Holmes in Ohio (Perkins is ranked 17th, while West Holmes is ranked 133rd).
