Charlotte Latin's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Durham Academy, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-2.
Charlotte Latin was able to grind out a solid win over Durham Academy in their previous meeting back in December of 2022, winning 58-45. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Durham Academy's Jake Chisholm, who scored 21 points.
