While it was all tied up 27-27 at halftime, the Parkside Rams were not quite the Pocomoke Warriors's equal in the second half on Friday. Parkside fell 62-49 to Pocomoke. Parkside was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Pocomoke apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January.
Leading Pocomoke to victory were Michael Ames and Jamir Roberts. Ames scored 17 points, while Roberts scored 21 points along with six assists and six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Demontae Mills Jr., who scored five points along with five rebounds.
Parkside still hasn't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-1. As for Pocomoke, they pushed their record up to 2-0 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.
Parkside won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Wicomico at 11:30 a.m. on December 9th. As for Pocomoke, they will head out on the road to face off against Washington at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
