The Veritas Prep Falcons stacked a 14th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Monday. They claimed a resounding 65-36 victory over Madison Highland Prep at home. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Veritas Prep.
Leading Veritas Prep to victory were Jared Barrett and Carter Perry. Barrett dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds, while Perry scored 13 points along with five rebounds and two steals. Barrett is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for four games straight. Another player making a difference was Kishan Bhatnagar, who scored nine points along with three steals.
Veritas Prep is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season. As for Madison Highland Prep, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-9 record this season.
Veritas Prep will be playing in front of their home fans against the Spartans at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Madison Highland Prep, they will head out on the road to take on the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
