The Eldorado Sundevils had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.7 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They walked away with a 32-19 victory over Pinecrest Academy Cadence. That's another feather in the cap for Eldorado, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
It was another big night for Jaeshawn West, who rushed for 283 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.4 yards per carry. West hasn't dropped below 100 rushing yards for five straight games. Another player making a difference was Xavier Delgado, who picked up 77 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Despite the defeat, Pinecrest Academy Cadence saw an underclassman step up: Kellon Trubey rushed for 38 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 164 yards and a touchdown. Another big playmaker for Pinecrest Academy Cadence was Nixon Gasperosky, who returned a punt for a touchdown.
Eldorado now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Pinecrest Academy Cadence, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.
Eldorado will head out on the road to face off against Sunrise Mountain at 6:00 p.m. on November 3rd. Sunrise Mountain will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive. Pinecrest Academy Cadence does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
