Williams has enjoyed a four-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will  take on El Capitan/Centennial Academy at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday. Hopefully Williams focused on turnovers this week  since the team gave up 26 on Tuesday.
 Williams suffered their biggest  loss yet this season on Tuesday. They were dealt a  70-27 defeat at the hands of Joseph City. Williams was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at  36-11.
 Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from  Braydyn Larimore, who  scored 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Kenzie Orozco, who  scored two points along with four  steals.
 Williams  struggled to get the ball back on offense and  finished the game with only three  offensive rebounds. They  were crushed by their opponents in that department as Joseph City  pulled down 23  offensive rebounds.
 Meanwhile,  after a string of six wins, El Capitan/Centennial Academy's good fortune finally ran out  on Thursday. They took a   45-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of Fredonia.
 Williams' defeat  ended  a  three-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 12-10. As for El Capitan/Centennial Academy, their defeat  ended  a  three-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 14-6.
 Williams lost to El Capitan/Centennial Academy on the road  by a decisive  51-36 margin  when the teams last played  on January 4th. Can Williams avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
