On Saturday, the Chenango Forks Blue Devils's game was all tied up 17-17 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They walked away with a 47-39 victory over Greene. The win made it back-to-back wins for Chenango Forks.
Chenango Forks got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Walker Paske out in front who scored 13 points along with two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Stephen Samsel, who scored ten points along with six assists and six rebounds.
Chenango Forks' win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-6. As for Greene, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chenango Forks will face off against Varsity Opponent at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Greene on the road again on Monday and play against Delaware Academy at 5:30 p.m. on January 22nd. One thing working in Delaware Academy's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last five contests.
