On Friday Lowell take on Lawrence at Lawrence Veterans Memorial Stadium at 7:00 PM. Both of these teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
After a dominant victory in their game two weeks ago, Lowell were humbled last Friday. They were completely outmatched, falling 0-40 to Central Catholic. Lowell were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-24.
Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for Lawrence, and their match last Saturday only extended their streak of losses to four. They have to be aching after a bruising 8-30 defeat to Haverhill.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
