They really took it to Triad Math and Science Academy for the full four quarters, racking up a 73-45 victory on the road. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 44-17.
Piedmont Classical found their leader in underclassman Cameron Anderson , who scored 13 points. The matchup was Anderson 's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jalen Ferrell , who scored six points along with five steals.
Piedmont Classical is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-7 record this season. As for Triad Math and Science Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-9.
Piedmont Classical will look to defend their home court on Friday against Bishop McGuinness at 8:00 p.m. One thing working in Bishop McGuinness' favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season. As for Triad Math and Science Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Bethany at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Bethany is on a five-game streak of home losses, Triad Math and Science Academy a seven-game streak of away losses (dating back to last season), but someone's luck is about to change.
