The Buckeye Central Bucks will be taking part in a tournament against the Mansfield Christian Flames at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.
Buckeye Central saw some tournament action on Thursday. They blew past Wynford 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bucks.
Buckeye Central not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Wynford between 14 and 17 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-14, 25-17.

Buckeye Central's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Harper Kantzer, who had seven aces, and Mayzie Hanlon, who had 13 digs and two assists. Those seven aces gave Kantzer a new career-high.
They weren't the only good servers: Buckeye Central was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 34 consecutive matches dating back to last season.
New London came into Thursday's matchup looking for another win against Mansfield Christian, but McKenzie Webb wouldn't allow it. The Flames blew past the Wildcats 3-0 on Thursday for which the team can thank Webb, who had 20 digs and seven aces. Hanlon has been hot recently, having also posted 12 or more digs the last three times she's played.
While Mansfield Christian might've won, it sure wasn't easy: New London scored at least 20 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 25-20, 25-22.
Buckeye Central's win bumped their record up to 18-5. As for Mansfield Christian, they now have a winning record of 12-11.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Tuesday's contest: Buckeye Central has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 12.9 aces per game. However, it's not like Mansfield Christian struggles in that department as they've been averaging 11 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
