Evanston fell to Rawlins 20-23 the last time the two teams met; this time around, they exacted some revenge. Everything went Evanston's way against Rawlins on Friday as they made off with a 35-7 win. Evanston was expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
The victory bumped Evanston's record up to 1-0. The loss dropped Rawlins back to even at 0-0.
Next week, Evanston take on Riverton at 7:00 PM. As for Rawlins, they will face off against Green River.
