The DeSoto Thunderbirds stacked a 16th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Monday. They breezed by North Sunflower Academy on the road to the tune of 71-13. DeSoto's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Anslee Barnes continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 18 points along with two steals and two blocks. She hasn't dropped below 15points for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Carsyn Gore, who scored five points along with three steals.
The win (which was DeSoto's fifth in a row) raised their record to 20-4. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.2 points per game. As for North Sunflower Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-2.
DeSoto does not have any more games scheduled as of now. North Sunflower Academy also has no future games currently scheduled.
