After flying high against the Upper Dauphin Area Trojans on Saturday, the Steelton-Highspire Steamrollers came back down to earth. The game between Steelton-Highspire and Trinity wasn't particularly close, with Steelton-Highspire falling 77-62. Steelton-Highspire has struggled against Trinity recently, as their match on Tuesday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Owen Schlager was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 37 points and 12 rebounds for Trinity. That makes it four consecutive games in which Schlager has scored at least 25% of Trinity's points. Amil Way was another key contributor, scoring 18 points along with five rebounds.
Steelton-Highspire's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-1. As for Trinity, their win was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0.
Steelton-Highspire will square off against Susquehanna Township at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Susquehanna Township is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. Trinity will be home for the holidays to greet Boiling Springs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Boiling Springs will be coming into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line.
