On Monday, Park Ridge suffered a rough 61-36 defeat at the hands of Lakeland Regional. Park Ridge was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-14.
Lakeland Regional's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tyler Lynn, who scored 20 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Lynn has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Pagan, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds.
This is the second loss in a row for Park Ridge and nudges their season record down to 10-9. As for Lakeland Regional, their win bumped their record up to 4-11.
Park Ridge will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Ridgefield Memorial at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lakeland Regional, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Wayne Valley at 4:15 p.m. on January 30th. Hopefully Wayne Valley focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 last Saturday.
