Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Arlington). Everything went their way against the Vanlue Wildcats on Monday as they made off with an 11-5 victory. The win was some much needed relief for the Red Devils as it spelled an end to their eight-game losing streak.

The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-9. As for Vanlue, they are on a 23-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-12.

Coming up, Arlington will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against McComb at 5:00 p.m. As for Vanlue, they are taking a road trip to square off against Pandora-Gilboa at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
