Juanita Sanchez Complex found their leader in underclassman Kyle Delves, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds. The matchup was Delves' fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Taurean Williams, who scored seven points along with nine rebounds and six assists.
Juanita Sanchez Complex's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-0. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.0 points per game. As for Block Island, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Juanita Sanchez Complex will play host again and welcome Achievement First Providence, where tip off is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
