The Springfield Blue Devils's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Woodward Polar Bears at 6:30 p.m. on February 6th. Hopefully Springfield focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Saturday.
Last Saturday, Springfield lost to the Indians on the road by a decisive 62-46 margin. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Springfield in their matchups with the Indians: they've now lost eight in a row.
The losing side was boosted by Aaron Adams, who scored 22 points along with eight rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kai Taylor, who scored nine points.
Meanwhile, Woodward took a serious blow against the Patriots on Tuesday, falling 75-45. Woodward has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Springfield's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Woodward, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 3-13.
Springfield strolled past the Polar Bears when the teams last played back in December of 2021 by a score of 72-55. Will Springfield repeat their success, or do the Polar Bears have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
