Logan Moore Turns in Season-Best Effort
On Friday, Manitou Springs got the W thanks in part to Logan Moore playing the best football he has all season. Moore rushed for 352 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 16.8 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 80-yard run.
Moore is probably looking forward to his next game, a road matchup against Lamar on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Moore saw the Thunder), he rushed for 113 yards on only 15 carries, and also picked up 36 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Noah Howard Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
Florence was led to victory by Noah Howard, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Howard rushed for 205 yards and a touchdown while picking up 8.2 yards per carry, and also threw for 33 yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
On the season, Howard has thrown 2 touchdowns while averaging 67.4 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after five games last season, he was only averaging 23 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 136 rushing yards.

Joseph Schoenberger Made His Presence Known in Woodland Park's 24-20 Win
Woodland Park picked up their sixth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Marqus Joseph Schoenberger. Joseph Schoenberger turned in nothing short of a gem, throwing for 170 yards and three touchdowns, while also rushing for 30 yards. He didn't just play on offense: he also made six total tackles and defended two passes.
Unfortunately for Lamar, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Joseph Schoenberger. When Joseph Schoenberger last faced the Thunder back in October of 2023, he threw for 281 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 12.2 yards per attempt.

Parker Shreeve and Co. Win Sixth in a Row
Parker Shreeve was instrumental in extending Woodland Park's winning streak to six on Friday.
