Wall is 7-2 against the Irrigators since January of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The two teams will face off at 7:15 p.m. on February 5th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Wall knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past eight matchups -- so hopefully the Irrigators like a good challenge.
Wall put the finishing touches on their ninth blowout victory of the season on Friday. They claimed a resounding 72-45 win over Kadoka at home.
Newell can finally bid farewell to their six-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They secured a 35-31 W over Edgemont. The victory was just what Newell needed coming off of a 52-18 loss in their prior contest.
Wall is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season. As for Newell, their win bumped their record up to 7-9.
Wall strolled past the Irrigators when the teams last played back in January of 2023 by a score of 59-43. The rematch might be a little tougher for Wall since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
