The Carvers Bay Bears stacked a tenth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 59-10 win over Johnsonville at home. Winning may never get old, but Carvers Bay sure is getting used to it with their eighth in a row.
Carvers Bay got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jerchel Geathers-Washington out in front who scored 20 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. Geathers-Washington is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last eight games she's played. Another player making a difference was D'Essence Graham, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds and five steals.
Carvers Bay has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season. As for Johnsonville, their defeat was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-15.
Carvers Bay will face off against East Clarendon at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Carvers Bay's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three games. Johnsonville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
