The Amery Warriors will venture away from home to take on the Grantsburg Pirates at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Amery is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.4 runs per game this season.
Amery lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Webster, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday's game. The Warriors never let the Tigers get on the board and left with a 13-0 win on Friday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Warriors considering their two-run performance the contest before.

Jacob Maxon was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. He has become a key player for Amery: the team is undefeated when he posts at least three RBI, but 4-9 otherwise. Logan Doten also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
Amery hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in four consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Grantsburg entered their tilt with Shell Lake on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Lakers by a score of 5-1.
Levi Anderson made a splash no matter where he played. He struck out eight batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double.
In other batting news, Grantsburg let Henry Q and Ryder Anderson run wild. Q went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and two runs, while Anderson went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. Those two stolen bases gave Anderson a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ryker Stelsel, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases.
Amery's record now sits at 8-9. As for Grantsburg, their record is now 8-3-1.
Both the two teams just can't seem to miss. Amery has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.2 hits per game. However, it's not like Grantsburg struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 5.1 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Amery came out on top in a nail-biter against Grantsburg in their previous matchup back in April of 2025, sneaking past 7-5. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
