Eldorado's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Robert "RJ" Waddell, who scored 20 points along with seven steals. Waddell has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last 14 times he's played. Another player making a difference was Kamarion Durant, who scored 19 points along with five steals.
Eldorado's victory bumped their record up to 9-13. As for Cristo Rey St. Viator, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-12.
Eldorado will head out on the road to face off against Mater Academy East Las Vegas at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Eldorado focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up seven on Tuesday. As for Cristo Rey St. Viator, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Democracy Prep Agassi Campus at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The timing isn't great for Cristo Rey St. Viator: they have been struggling with five straight losses at home dating back to last season, while Democracy Prep Agassi Campus has snatched up four consecutive wins on the road.
