The Fall River Pirates will head out on the road to  square off against  the Abundant Life Challengers  at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Fall River will be strutting in after a  win while Abundant Life will be coming in after a  loss.
Fall River is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup  on Tuesday. They came out on top against Palmyra-Eagle by a score of  3-1. Winning may never get old, but the Pirates sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
 The final score came out to 26-24, 25-11, 23-25,  25-14.
Fall River found their leader in sophomore  Aili Majocka, who  had seven  digs and three  aces.
 Fall River  was lethal from the service line and  finished the match with 15  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least six  aces in three consecutive  matches.
Meanwhile,  Abundant Life unfortunately witnessed the end of their  11-match winning streak last Tuesday. They fell just short of Dodgeland by a score of  3-2.
 Abundant Life actually scored more points across those five sets (98-94), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 9-25, 25-16, 20-25,  15-13.
 Fall River will have to keep a close watch on  Jada Grimes and  Brooke Genske, a pair of players who had a big impact on Abundant Life's prior game. Grimes  had 14  digs and four  aces, while  Genske  had nine  digs and three  aces.  Savannah Strubbe also deserves some recognition as  she  served her first  ace of the season.
 The  victory  got Fall River back to even at 16-16. As for Abundant Life, their defeat dropped their record down to 31-6.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of  Thursday's  matchup:  Fall River has really dialed in their serving  this season,  having  averaged 8.2  aces per game. However, it's not like Abundant Life struggles in that department as   they've been averaging  an even more impressive 7.6  aces.
