Luke Kelly made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with two triples, one run, and one RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in May of 2025.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Owen Lowther, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with four stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Those four stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Braeden Godfrey was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Everything went Gilmer County's way against Braxton County in their previous matchup back in March, as Gilmer County made off with an 11-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Titans since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
