Hayfield got themselves on the board against Lewis on Thursday, but Lewis never followed suit. They were the clear victors by an 11-0 margin over the Lancers. The Hawks haven't had any issues with the Lancers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Hayfield got a massive performance out of Ethan Tourne, who went 1-for-2 with four stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. That's the most runs Tourne has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Jacob Bueno, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.

Hayfield was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .429. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .407 or higher in three consecutive games.

Hayfield pushed their record up to 11-5 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Lewis, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
