On Friday, The Grafton Clippers got themselves on the board against the Jamestown Eagles, but the Jamestown Eagles never followed suit. They breezed by the Eagles at home to the tune of 62-0. The win made it back-to-back wins for Grafton.
Grafton found their leader in underclassman Luke Bryant, who threw for 285 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 13.0 yards per attempt. The team also got some help courtesy of Koy Snyder, who picked up 94 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Grafton now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Jamestown, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Grafton will challenge York at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Jamestown, they will head out on the road to face off against Warhill at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in Warhill's favor as the team sits on four straight wins at home while Jamestown has been banged up by eight consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.
