The Princeton Tigers will head out on the road to face off against the Richfield Spartans at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Princeton will be strutting in after a win while the Spartans will be coming in after a defeat.
On Thursday, Princeton earned a 61-54 victory over the Hornets.
Meanwhile, Richfield's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight defeat. They were the victim of a tough 67-41 loss at the hands of Fridley. Richfield has not had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Aniiya Johnson, who scored 18 points along with two steals. Ania Laduke was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Princeton's win bumped their record up to 9-10. As for Richfield, they now have a losing record at 9-10.
