The Ridgeline Falcons will head out on the road to square off against the Walla Walla Blue Devils at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Ridgeline focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine on Tuesday.
Ridgeline's recent rough patch got a bit rougher after their third straight defeat. The match between them and Lewis & Clark wasn't particularly close, with Ridgeline falling 60-46. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Ridgeline has scored all season.
Despite the defeat, Ridgeline got a solid performance out of Brayden Allen, who scored 17 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Allen has scored all season. Easton Amend was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with three blocks.
Meanwhile, Walla Walla pushed their score all the way to 60 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 83-60 walloping at the hands of Richland. While losing is never fun, Walla Walla can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 136th, while Richland is ranked 31st).
Ridgeline's defeat dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Walla Walla, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-9.
