They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Hanover Central 56-54. That's another feather in the cap for Morgan Township, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Keagen Holder was his usual excellent self, scoring 25 points along with six rebounds and five steals. He hasn't dropped below two steals for five straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Hayden Grieger, who scored nine points.
Morgan Township's win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-4. As for Hanover Central, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-7 record this season.
Morgan Township will head out on the road to challenge South Central at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. South Central is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak. As for Hanover Central, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Chesterton at 7:00 p.m. on January 27th. Chesterton presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Hanover Central in Indiana (Chesterton is ranked 49th, while Hanover Central is ranked 259th).
