Round Lake extended their postseason success on Tuesday against Freeport. Their defense stepped up to hand the Pretzels a 24-0 shutout. Considering the Panthers have won ten matchups by more than 23 points this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Round Lake didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Emma Franks and Kayla Diaz. Franks got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Round Lake is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-9 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 32.2 points over those games. As for Freeport, their loss dropped their record down to 11-11.

Round Lake wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 12-7 victory against Hononegah on the 9th. Freeport does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
