Meanwhile, Albert Gallatin fell victim to Peters Township and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Indians, falling 6-0.
Albert Gallatin saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jenna Myers, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.
Baldwin's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Albert Gallatin, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.
Baldwin's speedy runners might be the difference in Tuesday's matchup. The Highlanders have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.7 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Albert Gallatin, though, as they've been averaging only 0.7 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Baldwin continue to outrun the ball?
