Last Friday, Valley Christian faced Arlee in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Valley Christian fell 34-25 to Arlee. It was the first time this season that Valley Christian let down their fans at home.
Despite the loss, Valley Christian had strong showings from Daniel Stoltsfus, who rushed for 46 yards and a touchdown, and Nicholas Karvandi, who picked up 51 receiving yards and a touchdown. Another big playmaker for Valley Christian was Brayden Mccoy, who returned a punt for a touchdown.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Victor, who are still winless after their seventh match. They had to suffer through a rough 38-0 loss at the hands of Troy.
Having lost for the first time this season, Valley Christian fell to 6-1. As for Victor, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their overall record down to 0-7.
