The Tocoi Creek Toros have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 21 points or more this season. They put the hurt on Bradford with a sharp 45-24 victory on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Tocoi Creek.
Tocoi Creek's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kathryn Moeller led the charge by dropping a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds. That's the first time this season that Moeller pulled down eight or more rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Mckenzie Mabry, who scored 12 points.
Tocoi Creek has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season. As for Bradford, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5.
Tocoi Creek and Williston will face off at 2:00 p.m. on December 29th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Williston will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 331st, while Tocoi Creek is ranked 127th). Bradford will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Fort White at 7:00 p.m. on January 9, 2024.
