Saginaw won the last time they faced Bay City Western, and things went their way on Friday, too. Saginaw came out on top in a nail-biter against Bay City Western, sneaking past 22-19. The tight race was right in line with the MaxPreps state rankings' forecast.
The win got Saginaw back to even at 2-2. Bay City Western are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-4.
Next week Saginaw take on Midland at 7:00 PM. Both teams seek to continue their momentum from their previous wins. As for Bay City Western, they will face off against Mt. Pleasant.
